Healthy Resolutions: Results: Month 3

Why 52 weekly resolutions...

For much of my adult life I have struggled with remaining true to a healthy way of living. It's simply not an easy feat, at least not for me. I find that there are just too many things on which to focus all the time: stay hydrated, workout at least 30 minutes a day, take time for yourself, be sure to strength train (but not two days in a row) and do cardio, count calories, strengthen your core, get enough sleep...and the list keeps going. With my busy life, it's too much to balance all of the time; and when much of what I should be doing has not been done in a long time, it's certainly too much change to take on all at once without feeling overwhelmed.

This is why this year, this 2012, I resolve to make 52 resolutions—one per week—focused on living a healthier life. It is my hope that by implementing these changes one at a time, I will avoid being overwhelmed and indeed really find myself a healthier person when 2013 rolls around.
